Miles Frieden graduated from New York Univeristy School of Law in 1976, a Root-Tilden Scholar.  He was admitted to the California Bar in 1976 and the Maine Bar in 1986. He first opened his Searsport, Maine office in 1986 and has been serving Waldo County residents ever since.

In addition to his legal career, he has been an educator (M.A.T., UNC - Chapel Hill (1972), a massage therapist, and a ceramic artist.  Miles was the Executive Director of both the California Public Interest Group (CALPIRG) and the Key West Literary Seminar.
